Summer in the city...Man its hot..No I am not the groovy dancer in video, but I do have the same outfit..Gloves too..
We NYC peeps got a taste of summer in the city last week. Let me tell you, when its hot here you get an inkling of what hell must be like. The buildings trap the heat, the humidity gives me bozo hair, even with the twenty different hair care products I use that say they protect against Bozo Hair, walking in the crowd you get hit with the smells of summer in the city. Believe me, it aint roses. You catch a whiff of someones fart, or a million farts, along with BO that smells like cheap perfume mixed with a lovely sounding deodorant such as "summer breeze", mixed with their own rank BO . That is a BO one must smell for themselves to believe it. Gag city. I use unscented so if I'm gonna smell, I'm just gonna smell like me, not stinky ocean breeze and musky cheap perfume. BO, FO and all O's are still OK by me because I love me some NYC..
My point of this post is to say we are on hiatus for two weeks. We have some really great guests scheduled for the show that I'm sure you will like. A couple comics, a seance guy, talk about the myth of Bogie and Bacall, teacher of a blow job class, summer movie recommendations, blasts from the past. Stay tuned for some very fun shows ahead. Our Donnie will be back intermittently , and I have some great guest co hosts lined up. Of course our lovely producer George will be there as well.
Thanks to all our listeners. Please follow us on twitter. You can listen to us on iTunes as well.

Hope you all have a great Memorial day weekend. Be safe!!
We talk to author roberta grimes about fun with dying..EEEEK..Then we speak to The lovely empath stephanie about what exactly is an empath, can a person have too much empathy, and why do some people have none...
This show is the first after Al and my divorce became final. Thankfully our producer George was there with the kleenex and support, although he was mighty quiet when we were discussing Fun With Dying...EEEEEEEKKK!! We learned a lot about the other side. Don't despair if you never got to see some of your fave singers in concert. Roberta gives us a total rock and roll, scooby dooby doo, scadooby dooby Heaven lineup even bigger then The Righteous Brothers told us about. You will also finally learn the truth to the question that has been on millions of minds "Is Elvis really dead" and do we get to eat in Heaven and do we need toilet paper. We get answers on these and many other important fun with dying issues.
Our next guest was the lovely Empath Stephanie. We discuss what an empath actually is. Why there are people with NO empathy. Is it possible to have TOO MUCH empathy and much more.
Thanks to Roberta and Stephanie for being there my first show after my divorce...sniff, sniff..You both were sweller then swell...
Thanks to my lovable lug and producer George for sitting in.
Thanks to sound guy Ben. So glad to have you back..We loves ya baby!!

Most thanks to you that listen. Changes are a brewing on the horizon now that Al and I are divorced. Stay tuned!!
Great tune for scary times. Just imagine...
On a positive note, on my last show I had a guest that wrote a book entitled Fun With Death..Not exactly my take on the subject, but she did say there are concerts given and John Lennon performs quite often. I asked if it would cost us heaven money...no..FREE OF CHARGE. What would Yoko say?? When I post podcast you will hear about other groovy concerts and who is performing. One might say its a "heavenly" lineup of all stars. HA!! No HARPS!! I'll be posting soon.
Today is the 2nd part of our interview with former NY Post film critic, Lou Lumenick. We discuss "Feud" and who was team Bette or Team Joan, Deep Throat the porno film, who was schtupping who, Lou's article on Gone With the Wind and the way they portrayed the HAPPY slaves being picked right up by Alt Right website Breitbart and because of that Lou was deluged with threats and death threats he got from White Supremicists. We talked homosexuality in Hollywood and has it changed for leading men of today. Rock Hudson's favorite movies, hint Norma Desmond..We yakked about a lot of great stuff. Please listen. Very fun show. I love Lou. Come back soon!!
Much thanks to Lou for returning so quickly. I could talk to him for hours and hours. He is a joy.

Also read Lou's foreword he wrote for book about the beautiful crumbling movie palaces. Such a shame. They should be restored to their glory days.

The Broads way: We talk to author, musician Seth Davis Branitz About How he Loved and lost his drug addicted brother Kim
We talked to Seth about an article I found on Longreads. I highly recommend you all read it https://longreads.com/?s=seth+davis. As he was on the show, in the article he was honest, sensitive and as much as it was heartbreaking it was beautifully written and really made you feel what he felt. Thats a great writer. He has told me he would gladly come on again to discuss other topics. We will definitely have him on again. He is a very sweet soul.
I was running on no sleep. I'm sorry I was not at my best. Michelle and Seth picked up the show and I really feel its an important topic and for people in similar situations, you will know you are not alone. For those who have not had to deal with this you will learn a lot.
We want to thank Seth for coming on and sharing his story. He was great.
Most of all we thank our loyal listeners. You all are the best!
Michelle and Grace

Check out our Donnie Kehr at his benefit the other night. He is So Talented. He will be back co hosting when he can!! YAY!!!
Our Donnie is in hat. I wish I could show you solo. This was from his benefit Monday night and I went to support him and his cause. He had just gotten off a plane and rushed to benefit. He was exhausted but like the pro he is you would never know it. I wish you all could really see how very talented he is. Rent Jersey Boys, he got singled out by Lou Lumenick for his performance. I was and am one of his biggest fans.
Also they had a pre show video discussing what the charity was about. It had a pic of Donnie in his ballet dancer outfit. TOO ADORABLE!!
He will be back to co host from time to time which makes me VERY happy. I know you all enjoyed him as well. He is a natural and I can't tell you what a joy it is to work with him.
I just wanted to share a little bit of Donnie. My hands were shaky so video is not the best but it gives you the general idea.
